（中央社記者陳偉婷台北21日電）親民黨主席宋楚瑜今天說，8月初決定是否參選總統，這段時間會尋找台灣問題的對策、訪賢，親民黨主張是聯合政府，務實執政，迎向未來。
親民黨下午2時30分舉行擴大幹部會議，討論2016年總統大選和立法委員選舉相關事宜。宋楚瑜開場致詞約16分鐘，隨後開放與會代表發言，人數約40人，發言踴躍，會議超過3小時才結束並開放媒體入場提問。
宋楚瑜談到是否參選時表示，聽到很多意見都希望他慎重考量回應人民心聲，但他還要仔細自我要求，且這個月底是妻子陳萬水逝世3週年，他還要仔細的思量，8月初再做最後決定。
他說，台灣面臨的問題，大家關切未來領導人有沒有能力、不會暴衝、不會走急獨、急統路線，最近的民調顯示，親民黨的路線符合人民最期待的維持現狀。親民黨要找回中道的力量，尋找台灣對策，親民黨主張是組聯合政府，務實執政，不打高空，解決問題，迎向未來。1040721
